The booth felt greasy. The server acted like we where a nuisance. The American food was better than the Asian food. But my mom liked it. And that is the only reason I gave a 3 star instead of a 2 star.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. My family and I were never served water or drinks unless we went looking for the staff ourselves. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone because no one was checking on our table. When we finally got service, the staff acted annoyed and rude. They were talking about us to their coworkers in another language and making it obvious that they did not want to help. Their attitude was completely unprofessional. To top it all off, they charged us a $20 tip despite providing terrible service. I gladly tip when service is good, but forcing a tip after treating customers this way is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values its customers.

I’m not usually a fan of Chinese food, but my husband loves it, so we’ve tried quite a few places over the years. Out of all of them, China E Buffet in Round Rock has become my absolute favorite! Even though I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food, I always enjoy eating here. Their chicken tenders and French fries are my go-to favorites, and they’re always fresh, hot, and delicious. When it comes to the buffet, the fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and hot & spicy chicken are the dishes I keep coming back for. I also love their pink lemonade—it’s so good! One thing I don’t particularly like is that they sometimes bring the check to the table while we’re still eating, usually when we’re only on our second plate. It can feel a little rushed and uncomfortable. However, that small issue doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The food is consistently fresh, the buffet is well-stocked, and everything tastes great. If you’re looking for a Chinese buffet in Round Rock, I highly recommend giving China E Buffet a try!

I recently had a fantastic experience at this buffet! The variety is incredible, but what really stood out was the freshness and flavor of the seafood. The cooked shrimp were plump and tasty, the breaded shrimp were nice and crispy, and they had a wonderful crab salad. Beyond the seafood, they have a great selection of meats and sides. The roasted pork was tender and flavorful, and they offer favorites like broccoli, corn on the cob, and even some delicious plantains. Everything I tried was well-prepared and delicious. The overall atmosphere is casual, the staff is friendly, and it's a great value for the amount and quality of food you get. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a great buffet experience!

Great hot and sour soup, good egg rolls. Wasn't too fond of the Kung pao chicken. It was $38/2 adult lunch plates and 2 drinks. The dessert bar had peanut brittle! Since when do Chinese food places make peanut brittle?! And had almond cookies. Wouldn't write home about any of the other desserts. I love chow mein but couldn't bring myself to eat any due to the color of it. Looked like spaghetti. Not sure what makes it look that way but I decided to skip it. My daughter liked the sushi bar.
